New beginnings

This week has been the start of a new beginning for my fiance & I...and when I say new beginnings I mean GOOD new beginnings!!! He is studying for his EMT written test which will basically give him a job if he passes it. I got a new job {FINALLY} working as a Dental Assistant at a pediatric office. I love kids bc well obviously I have one of my own, but the whole purpose of going to work is to get a break from your children....{bad to say I know but who isn't thinking it} but I go and have to deal with more screaming and biting kids!!! oh well I love my job and I love helping kids and their parents achieve a better smile :) also...the pay is amazing...hours not so much so maybe they will end up going up here soon....but I will not complain because in this economy it is hard to come by a job.

Rylan had his 16 month check-up last week and is doing absolutely amazing and is right on track with everything!! he weighs 23lbs, 31 inches long. Doctor said he is perfect and a handsome little man!!! Our next big step is to get him completely OFF bottles!!! He only uses them at night when he is going to bed I don't know why he uses them at night and not during the day, it must be some sort of comfort item for him to help soothe him to sleep?! my guess is just as good as anyone else's. Also, this momma has seen too many little kids with bombed out teeth that we brush Rylan's teeth every single night and do NOT miss a single night!!! and to be honest with you he LOVES getting his teeth brushed!! the biggest smile comes across his face when he sees me getting the tooth brush ready with tooth paste!!! and he even sits on my lap and cooperates with me while I brush them pearly whites for him! I will probably jinx myself and tomorrow he will hate it or later on down the road absolutely not want anything to do with it....too bad he will have to get over it because he will be brushing his teeth 2x a day!!!

Rylan's vocabulary is expanding so much each and every day. It amazes me how smart he is!!! I asked him the other day if he was ready to go see the doctor and he replied with shaking his head yes and saying "gock gock" meaning doctor...lol he is so smart when it comes to identifying body parts on himself and on other people when you ask him where something is!!! His food experiment is expanding everyday as well he LOVES everything food!! especially CHEESE!!!! His new recent favorite thing to eat is SPINACH!!! can you believe this people!!!! spinach I personally LOVE spinach myself but I figured he'd gag or have nothing to do with it since he doesn't care much for lettuce!!! I am so proud at how good of an eater he is!!!

This past weekend we took Rylan to Build A Bear!!! He absolutely had a blast!!!




 
 

Nothing new with the fiance & I. All I can say is that if it weren't for Pinterest I do not know what I would do on planning a wedding {decor wise} it has given me so many ideas and thoughts on what to do for our wedding and I actually have Chandler liking majority of the ideas!!! such a plus!!!
