As a mother and soon to be wife that means its time to start our own traditions as a family.
With that being said since we aren't getting married until June 2013 and we won't have our first Christmas as a family in our own place until December 2013, I have been doing some thinking about traditions I want to start doing when we finally have our own place.
I want Rylan & our other kids to be to carry on these traditions and look forward to these traditions each and every Christmas. I want ry and our other kids to be able to tell their kids what their traditions were growing up.
So here's a few that I've come up with. We will start a few this year. But for sure do them all next year.
1. Write a letter to Santa & send it to the "North Pole"
2. Build Gingerbread cookies
3. Receive a package from Santa with a new Christmas book in it each December.
4. Make Rain Deer food and spread it on the lawn the night before Santa comes
5. Fill a shoe box up with inexpensive toys to send to a child in need
6. Elf on a Shelf
7. Salt Dough hand print ornaments.
8. Bake Christmas goodies.
9. 25 days of Christmas on fox family!!!
10. Since Ry's first Christmas we've gotten him a new ornament each year. So each year well let him pick out a new ornament.
I thought these were appropriate for the age that Rylan is at.
Share your Christmas traditions with me ;) I'd love to hear them!!!
